How We Use Information
We may use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage accounts and provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- Process orders, payments, payouts, shipping, and refunds.
- Enable communication between buyers and artists.
- Send transactional messages, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, account notices, and security alerts.

How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following ways:
- With other users. Artist profiles, listings, ratings, and reviews are public. When you complete a purchase, we share the information needed to fulfill the order, such as your name and shipping address, with the artist. Messages are visible to the people in the conversation.
- With service providers. We use trusted companies to help us operate the Services, such as payment processing, mapping and address lookup, cloud hosting and storage, email and notification delivery, analytics, customer support, and content moderation. They may access personal information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.
- For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, legal process, or a government request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gallery.Q, our users, or the public, including to investigate fraud or enforce our terms.
- In a business transfer. If Gallery.Q is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- With your consent or at your direction. We may share information when you ask us to or give us permission.
We may also share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it no longer reasonably identifies you.
Payments
Payments on Gallery.Q are processed by Stripe. When you pay or set up payouts, your payment and identity details are provided directly to Stripe and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not store full payment card or bank account numbers on our servers. We may receive limited information from Stripe, such as the last four digits of a card, payment status, and transaction details.
Location and Device Permissions
With your permission, the app may use your device's location to help complete addresses, such as shipping addresses. Address suggestions are provided through Google Maps services, which receive the text you type or the location you share for that purpose. The app may also request access to your photo library or camera so you can upload artwork and profile images, and permission to send push notifications. You can allow or deny these permissions, and change them at any time in your device settings. If you deny a permission, some features may not work, but you can usually enter information manually.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website and app may use cookies, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand how the Services are used, and keep them secure. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling them may affect how parts of our website work.
Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect the safety and security of the Services. Retention periods vary depending on the type of information. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it, although some information may remain in backups for a limited time.
Your Choices

- Account deletion. You can request deletion of your account in the app or by contacting us at support@galleryq.app. We may retain certain information after deletion where needed for legal, tax, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution purposes, or to complete transactions in progress.

- Marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email or contacting us. We may still send you transactional messages about your account and orders.
- Device permissions. You can manage location, camera, photo, and notification permissions in your device settings.

These may include the right to know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; to access a copy of it; to correct inaccurate information; to delete it; to opt out of the sale of personal information, certain targeted advertising, and certain profiling; and not to be treated unfairly for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing us with the word "Appeal" in the subject line.
Sale and sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Sensitive information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than providing the Services and as otherwise permitted by law. Precise location, if you allow it, is used only for the purposes described in this policy.
